Explaining my Writing Process

I figured that it was time to explain to all of you dear readers my writing process and why I have kept this blog going for seventeen years and counting now. I have gone through cycles of writing a lot and then almost nothing. I think my record stands at 133 unique blog posts in a calendar year. When I was at my sickest, I only managed to write two blog posts in that entire year.

Since I struggle with facial paralysis and speech issues (although it is much improved). I still enjoy the written word. Because, I can express myself freely without the fear of being misunderstood (hopefully) and I can take my time to say exactly what I want, without having to rush my thought process.

I will keep this blog going for as long as I am able to and for as long as you will put up with reading all of my random thoughts. I am doing this not only for myself (it is very interesting to me to go back to a random date and time and see what I was writing about then. I am also doing this to keep a record for Eliana Valentina to look at when she gets older.

I am writing this blog completely separate from my memoirs. Both of these things I have done for similar reasons. To give Eliana Valentina a record of my life and for my own enjoyment. I have chosen to write digitally. In this way, my writing will (hopefully) be preserved forever and you don't have to deal with trying to decode my terrible handwriting.

Well that about wraps this one up. Til next time, Tyler
